Every Thor Load Assist Airbag Kit is manufactured using heavy-duty Australian-made mounting brackets, precision laser cut and professionally MIG welded for maximum strength and accuracy.

Manufactured from 6mm Australian steel and finished with a durable silver zinc coating for outstanding corrosion resistance, our brackets are built to withstand Australia's harsh conditions. Independently tested by a Government Accredited Certifier, our brackets have been proven to withstand 51kN of force—over 5.1 tonnes—giving you complete confidence that they're built to last.

Premium Airbags Designed for Maximum Durability

At the heart of every Thor kit are our premium double convoluted airbags, manufactured from heavy-duty 5mm cord-reinforced ribbed rubber.

Unlike many imported airbags that contain higher levels of PVC plastic, Thor airbags use a higher natural rubber content. This produces a more flexible airbag that resists cracking, UV degradation, and premature ageing, resulting in a smoother ride and a longer service life.

With 145mm (5.5 inches) of suspension travel, our airbags provide exceptional ride quality while maintaining excellent load support across varying road conditions.

Independently Tested for Safety

Our double 2,500 lb airbag systems have been independently tested by a Government Accredited Certifier to an impressive 464 psi without bursting.

While the recommended operating pressure is 5-160 psi, each airbag is rated to safely support up to 1,120 kg when used as intended.

Rather than designing an airbag simply to achieve the highest burst pressure, Thor focuses on the balance between flexibility, durability, and real-world performance. A more supple airbag provides improved ride comfort and is less susceptible to becoming brittle over years of exposure to Australia's harsh climate.
